Additionally, it supplies various hydrocarbon solvents, including hexane (primarily used in edible oil seed extraction and as a petrochemical carrier), rubber solvents (for adhesives and tire manufacturing), white spirits (vital for the coatings and paint industries), and Exxsol D80 (suitable for household, industrial, and metalworking applications). The company further imports and markets aromatic solvents, crucial for automotive paint coatings and pesticides, and distributes phthalate ester plasticizers used as foundational raw materials. A supplementary business activity involves leasing real estate assets. Founded in 1894 and headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand, the company was formerly known as Esso Standard Thailand Co., Ltd. before officially changing its name to Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited in 1996.
