The company conducts its core activities through its operational subsidiary, Yunnan Shangri-La Tibetan Pharmaceutical Group Limited (YSTP), which develops products within China to support the health of human respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. Among its currently commercialized products are: 25 Ingredients Mandrake Pill: Used for menstrual regulation and to address conditions like endometritis, pelvic inflammations, and anemia in women. 15 Ingredients Gentiana Pill: Prescribed for respiratory ailments including bronchitis, emphysema, asthma, and hoarseness. 28 Ingredients Pinang Pill: Aims to alleviate cold waist and hip pain, pus hematuria, and testicular swelling. 18 Ingredients Chebulic (Myrobalan) Frusemide Pill: Designed to treat various kidney issues, lower back and kidney pain, frequent or turbid urination, diabetes, and spermatorrhea. Pomegranate Nichirin Pill: Helps manage indigestion, back and leg pain, frequent urination, foot edema, impotence, and nocturnal emissions. The company also maintains an active development pipeline. The Xuezang Guben pill is being developed for neurasthenia, insomnia, frequent urination, nocturnal emission, and menopausal symptoms. Shengke I is currently in Phase III clinical testing for type II diabetes, while Shengke II is in Phase II trials, exploring its potential for impotence, premature ejaculation, prostate disease, and memory loss. The Jiuzan pill, also a Phase II candidate, targets chronic gastroenteritis and peptic ulcers. Additionally, Antai pill is a pre-clinical stage product under investigation for hepatitis B. Tibet Pharmaceuticals further plans to commercialize Wupeng Pill, intended for a range of conditions including echinococcosis, pandora tingling disease, diphtheria, anthrax, yellow water disease, and leprosy. Incorporated in 2009, the company was initially known as Shangri-La Tibetan Pharmaceuticals, Inc., before officially changing its name to Tibet Pharmaceuticals Inc. in July 2010. Its headquarters are located in Wanchai, Hong Kong.
