Its diverse business is structured into three main groups: Upstream Petroleum and Natural Gas, Downstream Petroleum, and New Business and Infrastructure. The company's foundational activities include the exploration and extraction of petroleum, along with the procurement, pipeline transmission, distribution, and processing of natural gas. PTT is also involved in the exploration, production, and supply of coal. In its downstream operations, the company manages the full supply chain for petroleum products and lubricants, from sourcing and storage to comprehensive distribution and retail sales through its extensive network of service stations. Beyond its core energy endeavors, PTT actively engages in the global import and export of petroleum, petrochemicals, and related commodities. It provides essential industrial utilities, such as electricity, steam, and water generation and distribution. Furthermore, the company offers a broad range of specialized services, including project management, human resource support, petroleum technology consulting, technical advisory for power generation projects, management of petrol stations and convenience stores, factory maintenance and engineering, oil and gas expertise, safety and environmental solutions, and the storage and handling of liquid chemicals. PTT's diversified portfolio includes strategic investments in liquefied natural gas (LNG) ventures, the development and installation of electricity generating systems, and chilled water production. It is deeply involved in the creation, marketing, and distribution of polymers and associated products, real estate development, and the operation of vocational schools. Additionally, PTT manufactures and distributes biochemical products, paraxylene, and industrial coatings/additives, alongside managing the transportation, warehousing, and packaging logistics for polyethylene.
