The company's operations are structured into two principal divisions: Drilling Services and Rental Tools Services. The Drilling Services segment conducts drilling for oil, natural gas, and geothermal wells, leveraging both its own rig fleet and client-owned equipment. This includes managing barge rig deployments for hydrocarbon extraction in the shallow coastal and inland waterways of Louisiana, Alabama, and Texas. Beyond drilling, this division provides extensive project services such as engineering, procurement, project management, and the commissioning of client-owned drilling facilities. It is also adept at executing drilling projects and navigating the complex logistical and technological challenges inherent in remote, harsh, or ecologically sensitive environments. The Rental Tools Services division offers a diverse range of rental equipment, including standard and heavy-duty drill pipes, tubing, and drill collars. It also supplies critical pressure control apparatus, such as blow-out preventers. Furthermore, this segment provides well construction services, including tubular running operations and downhole tools, alongside well intervention services that feature whipstock and fishing products with their associated support. Complementing these offerings are inspection and machine shop support services, all tailored for exploration and production companies, drilling contractors, and other service providers operating both on land and offshore. Parker Drilling serves a broad client base, including independent and national oil and natural gas exploration and production companies, as well as integrated service providers. Its global reach spans the United States, Russia and other Commonwealth of Independent States nations, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Latin America, and various other international locations. Founded in 1934, Parker Drilling Company is headquartered in Houston, Texas.
