The company's business activities are structured across several key areas: traditional and online betting, various lottery types (including numerical, instant, and passive games), video lottery terminals (VLTs), other digital gaming options, as well as telecommunication and electronic money services. OPAP holds exclusive rights to conduct, administer, organize, and operate a comprehensive range of gaming categories, such as numerical lotteries, betting, VLTs, and both terrestrial and online horse racing mutual betting. Its extensive sports betting portfolio features fixed odds games like PAME STOIXIMA, alongside mutual betting options such as PROPO, PROPOGOAL, HORSE RACING STOIXIMA, POWERSPIN, and PAME STOIXIMA virtual sports. Numerical lottery products include fixed odds games like KINO, SUPER 3, and EXTRA 5, as well as mutual games like TZOKER, LOTTO, and PROTO. Passive lotteries include LAIKO, ETHNIKO, and STATE, while the instant lottery category is covered by SCRATCH Luck. Beyond its core gaming operations, the company also delivers electronic transaction services, sells intangible talk time, facilitates bill payments, and offers software services. Furthermore, OPAP is licensed to install and operate 25,000 VLTs under the PLAY brand. The company's products and services reach consumers through a multifaceted distribution strategy that includes a franchised retail network, dedicated online betting and gaming platforms, and an extensive sales and distribution network comprising agents, street vendors, and other retailers. As of December 31, 2021, OPAP's physical footprint included 3,628 OPAP stores, 373 PLAY stores, 10,139 independent points of sale, and 1,924 street vendors who distribute SCRATCH tickets and passive lotteries. Founded in 1958, the company is headquartered in Athens, Greece.
