Furthermore, NKT provides an extensive range of high-voltage cable accessories, including GIS/transformer terminations, low-pressure oil-filled cable systems, outdoor terminations, components for wind power applications, and various joints. For medium-voltage systems, the company offers accessories like cable joints, connectors, voltage terminations, cable branch cabinets, paper-insulated lead sheath cables, and pre-assembled connection cables. Beyond products, NKT delivers crucial onshore cable services, such as maintenance, spare parts management, on-call resource provision, cable jointing and termination, and repair readiness programs. Additionally, its service offerings extend to offshore cable support, high-voltage testing, cable monitoring, specialized competence centers for oil and gas cables, and technology consulting. Previously known as NKT Holding A/S, the company adopted its current name, NKT A/S, in May 2017.
