These include innovative protections like IoT coverage, earnings quality insurance, captive insurance programs, and various risk transfer mechanisms. Specific policies address liability, weather risks, space and satellite operations, bioenergy plant performance, solar energy, wind farms, mining, construction projects, aviation, power and utilities, and oil and gas companies. The company also offers industrial cyber insurance, comprehensive risk suites, data and location risk intelligence, solutions for digital risks, PV warranty insurance, parametric insurance, Insure AI, liquidation damage cover, and natural catastrophe mitigation. Beyond its wholesale reinsurance business, the company serves individual customers directly through its ERGO brand, offering a full spectrum of primary insurance products, including life, property-casualty, health, legal protection, and travel insurance. Established in Munich, Germany, in 1880, the firm continues to be headquartered in its city of origin.
