It caters to a diverse client base, encompassing individual consumers, small and medium-sized businesses, large corporations, and public and financial sector institutions. The bank's operations are organized into three main segments: Commercial Clients, Retail Clients, and Treasury/Other. Its product offerings include a variety of deposit accounts, such as checking and savings accounts, fixed-term deposits, and transactional banking solutions. For lending, MONETA provides secured options like home mortgages and finance leases. Unsecured credit products feature personal and auto loans, credit cards, personal overdraft facilities, building savings loans, and bridging loans. Commercial clients can access working capital and investment financing, both finance and operating leases, vehicle loans, inventory financing, and specialized support for entrepreneurs and small businesses through guarantees, letters of credit, and foreign exchange services. The bank also facilitates payment protection insurance, which provides coverage for monthly loan payments in situations of unemployment, accident, or sickness. Additionally, it acts as an intermediary for customers seeking other insurance and investment products. MONETA engages in foreign exchange transactions, interest rate swaps, and invests in debt securities and equities. It further manages non-interest-bearing assets and offers debit and credit card services. As of December 31, 2021, the company operated 154 branches and a network of 560 automated teller machines. Founded in 1998, the bank was formerly known as GE Money Bank, a.s., adopting its current name, MONETA Money Bank, a.s., in May 2016. Its headquarters are situated in Prague, Czech Republic.
