Genetron Holdings Limited (GTH) is a precision oncology company that specializes in cancer molecular profiling, utilizing advanced molecular biology and data science to enhance cancer treatment. The company delivers a range of services, including diagnosis, monitoring, and early screening, primarily through its proprietary laboratory-developed tests. Its product offerings encompass a variety of in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) solutions. These include the 8-gene lung cancer assay, an IVD product for lung cancer detection; the Genetron 3D biochip reading instrument; and the Genetron S5, a semiconductor-based next-generation sequencing (NGS) system that identifies nucleotides by detecting pH changes. Other key products are the Genetron Chef System, the production-scale Genetron S2000 sequencing platform, and Onco PanScan, a genomic profiling service for diverse solid tumors. Moreover, Genetron provides specialized assays such as the IDH1 and TERT gene assays for glioma, a fundamental thyroid assay for thyroid tumors, a platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha assay for GIST cancer, and HCCscan, a qPCR-based assay designed to detect hepatocellular carcinoma. Beyond its direct services and products, the company offers genomics research and clinical development services, often in collaboration with biopharmaceutical companies globally. Genetron has also established a strategic partnership with JD Health to develop holistic solutions for comprehensive cancer management. The company was founded in 2015 and has its headquarters in Beijing, People's Republic of China.
