The Investment Bank segment focuses on specialized financial advisory, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and equity advice. It also provides expertise in financing, fixed income products, risk management, sales and trading activities, and currency markets. For individual customers, the Private Bank supplies payment and account services, credit and deposit products, and tailored investment advice, notably incorporating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) products. This segment also encompasses wealth management, postal and parcel services, and various digital banking solutions. The Asset Management segment delivers diverse investment solutions, featuring alternative investments such as real estate, infrastructure, private equity, liquid real assets, and sustainable investments, in addition to passive investment strategies. It also provides extensive services like insurance and pension solutions, asset liability management, portfolio management, asset allocation advisory, structuring, and overlay services for institutions (governments, corporations, and foundations) and individual investors. Established in 1870, the company's headquarters are located in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. As of December 31, 2021, Deutsche Bank maintained a substantial global presence with 1,709 branches operating across 58 countries.
