Blue Ridge Real Estate Company (BRRE) operates as an owner of investment properties predominantly located in Eastern Pennsylvania. Its business activities are structured into three primary segments: Resort Operations, Real Estate Management/Rental Operations, and Land Resource Management. The Resort Operations division manages leisure facilities such as the Boulder View Tavern and Boulder Lake Club, both situated near Big Boulder Lake. It also oversees the Jack Frost National Golf Course and the Stretch fishing club. Through its Real Estate Management/Rental Operations segment, the company leases out its portfolio of investment properties to other entities across Eastern Pennsylvania. This segment additionally provides administrative services to trusts that manage resort residential communities and derives income from renting space on communication towers and signboards. The Land Resource Management segment is involved in the acquisition and sale of land, timber harvesting, property development, and the leasing of both undeveloped land and land with existing improvements. As of October 31, 2021, Blue Ridge Real Estate Company possessed 9,405 acres of land within Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains. The company was established in 1820 and is headquartered in Blakeslee, Pennsylvania.
