This segment also raises capital through instruments such as deposits, registered and bearer Pfandbriefe (secured bonds), promissory notes, medium-term debt securities, private placements, and other subordinated debt issues, specifically encompassing mortgage and public sector Pfandbriefe. The Banking & Digital solutions segment delivers a range of services and products for the housing, commercial property, and energy and waste disposal industries, including specialized banking, payment systems, and optimized business processes. The Aareon division supplies IT systems consultancy and advisory services, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, software solutions, hosting, Software as a Service (SaaS), and in-house support. Aareal Bank AG was founded in 1923 and is headquartered in Wiesbaden, Germany.
