It also acts as a venture capital platform for industrial technology and develops software. Furthermore, Aker engages in real estate development. Within its Financial Investments segment, the company actively trades in financial instruments, serves as an investment manager, and strategically allocates capital to Bitcoin and various projects and enterprises within the Bitcoin ecosystem. Established in 1841 and headquartered in Lysaker, Norway, Aker ASA operates as a subsidiary of TRG Holding AS.
