FGV Holdings Berhad, an investment holding firm primarily engaged in agri-business, operates extensively across a global network encompassing Malaysia, India, China, Pakistan, the broader Asian region, the United States, Europe, Africa, New Zealand, and Indonesia. Established in 2007 with its corporate headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the company's operations are divided into three core segments. The Plantation segment undertakes the cultivation, harvesting, and initial processing of fresh fruit bunches, transforming them into crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel. Further activities include the refining and commercialization of CPO, along with the fractionation of refined bleached deodorized palm oil and its derivative, olein. It also manufactures oleochemicals such as fatty acid and glycerin, processes and distributes biodiesel, supplies consumer-grade bulk and packaged products, processes fertilizers and rubber, and markets planting materials. This segment's responsibilities are rounded out by research and development, alongside security operations. The Sugar segment is responsible for the refining, sale, and distribution of refined sugar and molasses. Lastly, the Logistics and Others segment encompasses bulk storage and transportation solutions, complemented by engineering, travel, and information technology offerings. Previously known as Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad, the company adopted its current name, FGV Holdings Berhad, in June 2018. It operates as a subsidiary of Lembaga Kemajuan Tanah Persekutuan.
