Its agricultural division focuses on agrochemicals and fertilizers, with operations centered in Johor Bahru, and includes a comprehensive range of pesticides such as herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, rodenticides, and miticides. In the consumer market, Hextar Global produces and distributes disposable healthcare items, including wet wipes, tissues, and cotton-based products. Beyond these, the company is a significant provider of specialty chemicals, manufacturing and supplying a broad spectrum of products like surfactants, emulsifiers, demulsifiers, corrosion inhibitors, deoilers, and acid inhibitors. Its extensive chemical portfolio also encompasses institutional and industrial chemicals, detergents, sanitizing chemicals, chemical derivatives, coatings, liquid odorants, and dosing systems. Complementing these offerings, Hextar Global provides gas and chemical-related services, technical assistance, and engages in the trading of polymers, adhesive products, and machinery. Products are distributed through a robust network comprising independent distributors, major retailers like hypermarkets and supermarkets, and a wide array of authorized dealers. Founded in 1980, the company, headquartered in Klang, Malaysia, was formerly known as Halex Holdings Berhad before its name change in May 2019. Hextar Global Berhad is a subsidiary of Hextar Holdings Sdn Bhd.
