This encompasses the marketing of specific items like Toyota industrial equipment, airport ground support equipment, and environmental products, complemented by after-sales service, repair, and fleet management solutions. Beyond these, UMW's manufacturing and engineering capabilities include the production and distribution of greases and specialty items, alongside providing contract drilling and engineering services to the oil and gas sector. A significant area of focus is the aerospace industry, where the company manufactures engine components. The group further broadens its activities to include information technology support, management and various professional services, comprehensive power solutions, research and development initiatives, the supply of oil and gas products, and property development. Established in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 1917, UMW also engages in the leasing of drilling rigs and vessels.
