Lastly, the Health Care division focuses on developing and supplying pharmaceuticals and diagnostic reagents. It manufactures a variety of advanced medical equipment, including dialyzers, therapeutic apheresis systems, filters for biotherapeutics and virus removal, leukocyte reduction filters, and critical care devices like defibrillators and temperature management systems. Innovative technologies such as UVC LED products are also part of its offerings, contributing to advancements in health. Established in 1922, Asahi Kasei maintains its corporate headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.
