Hyundai Mobis plays a significant role in vehicle electrification, producing items like power converters, electric propulsion systems, energy management systems, 48-volt mild-hybrid setups, and components for fuel cell electric vehicles. Safety is another key area, with offerings including airbag modules and their electronic control units. Furthermore, its range extends to advanced cabin technologies, encompassing infotainment systems, central display units, digital instrument clusters, various head-up displays (windshield, combiner, and augmented reality versions), and premium audio systems. Critical chassis components are also supplied, such as the integrated i-MEB master cylinder, the MEB (combining anti-lock braking with an electronic braking system), switch-operated electronic parking brakes (EPB), electronic power steering (EPS), and suspension systems. Established in 1977, the firm was initially known as Hyundai Precision Industry Co., Ltd until it officially changed its name to Hyundai Mobis Co.,Ltd in November 2000.
