Its diverse steel portfolio includes hot and cold-rolled sheets, medium and thick plates, galvanized steel, color-coated plates, cold-rolled silicon steel, heavy rails and structural sections, seamless steel pipes, and wire rods. Beyond core steel production, Angang Steel also undertakes ferrous metal smelting and steel pressing and processing operations. The company diversifies its industrial activities further by purifying cooking gas, producing coal-based products and dissolved acetylene, and marketing compressed and liquefied gases. Commercially, the company trades in metallic and building materials, offers wholesale and retail purchasing solutions, and is involved in the development of metallurgical and related equipment. It actively participates in the procurement and sale of metals and other raw materials, alongside the import, export, wholesale, and retail of technological products. Angang Steel's essential steel goods are vital components in numerous sectors, such as machinery, metallurgy, petroleum, chemical processing, coal mining, electricity generation, railway transport, shipbuilding, automotive manufacturing, construction, household appliances, and the aviation industry. While primarily serving the domestic Chinese market, the company also engages in international trade through its export operations.
