The Aircraft and Ships segment specializes in aircraft leasing and management, in addition to financing and investment activities for marine vessels. ORIX USA provides finance, investment, and asset management expertise, while ORIX Europe concentrates on equity and fixed income asset management. Furthermore, its Asia and Australia segment focuses on finance and investment initiatives. Founded in 1950 and headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, the company was originally known as Orient Leasing Co., Ltd. before rebranding as ORIX Corporation in 1989.
