The Transmission and Distribution division oversees the network that transports and supplies power directly to end-users, alongside providing related support services. The 'Others' segment encompasses various activities such as project and infrastructure management, property development, and the leasing of oil storage tanks. Beyond these core areas, Tata Power is actively involved in manufacturing solar photovoltaic cells, modules, and pumps. It also operates electric vehicle charging facilities and coal mines, generates power from waste heat, trades electricity, and provides engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and logistics services. Additionally, the company offers solar-powered water purification systems utilizing reverse osmosis or ultrafiltration technologies, along with smart energy solutions like microgrids, rooftop solar setups, and home automation systems. As of June 8, 2022, Tata Power had an impressive installed generation capacity of 13,735 MW.
