Moreover, Genetron provides specialized assays such as the IDH1 and TERT gene assays for glioma, a fundamental thyroid assay for thyroid tumors, a platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha assay for GIST cancer, and HCCscan, a qPCR-based assay designed to detect hepatocellular carcinoma. Beyond its direct services and products, the company offers genomics research and clinical development services, often in collaboration with biopharmaceutical companies globally. Genetron has also established a strategic partnership with JD Health to develop holistic solutions for comprehensive cancer management. The company was founded in 2015 and has its headquarters in Beijing, People's Republic of China.
