Furthermore, the company is progressing with APL-581, a program centered on a dual bromodomain and extra-terminal domain motif protein and kinase inhibitor. Aptose maintains strategic alliances with CrystalGenomics, Inc. and OHM Oncology. Incorporated in 1986 and headquartered in Toronto, Canada, the company was formerly known as Lorus Therapeutics Inc., changing its name to Aptose Biosciences Inc. in August 2014.
