The company's current marketed products include SIVEXTRO, an oxazolidinone-class antibacterial designed for the treatment of acute bacterial skin and skin structure infections (ABSSSI), and XENLETA, a semi-synthetic pleuromutilin antibiotic utilized in managing community-acquired bacterial pneumonia. Beyond its existing offerings, Nabriva is further exploring XENLETA's potential in Phase I clinical trials for a broad spectrum of indications, such as pediatric infections, sexually transmitted infections, cystic fibrosis, ABSSSI, ventilator-associated and hospital-acquired bacterial pneumonia, osteomyelitis, and prosthetic joint infections. Additionally, the firm is developing CONTEPO, an epoxide antibiotic for complicated urinary tract infections, which is also undergoing Phase I clinical evaluation for peri-operative prophylaxis. Originally incorporated in 2005 as Nabriva Therapeutics Forschungs GmbH, the company rebranded to Nabriva Therapeutics plc in 2007 and maintains its corporate headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.
