The Engineering segment undertakes projects encompassing renewable energy power generation plants, general power generation operations, overseas civil engineering works, and various treatment facilities for waste, water, resource recycling, and PCB disposal. Additionally, the company's business interests extend to information and communication equipment, transport apparatus, systems development, real estate leasing, and infrastructure-related ventures. Founded in Tokyo in 1917, the firm was previously known as Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
