Its extensive portfolio also features industrial and consumer specialty chemicals and tailored application solutions across numerous markets. These encompass automotive fluids (like brake fluids and coolants), aircraft de-icing, construction chemicals, agrochemicals, food ingredients, gas processing, heat transfer, home and industrial cleaning, lubricant additives, specialized solvents, paints and coatings, healthcare, and personal care ingredients. Additionally, the company offers sophisticated oilfield production chemicals for enhanced oil recovery, offshore and unconventional drilling, paraffin control, and well services, complemented by its intelligent chemical management system, Veritrax. Clariant also provides comprehensive chemical solutions for the mining industry, additives for refinery services, and develops biofuels and their derivatives, exemplified by sunliquid, which transforms agricultural residues into cellulosic ethanol.
