Sales and distribution are primarily managed through a network of independent distributors and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Historically, the entity was known as Capstone Turbine Corporation, undergoing a name change to Capstone Green Energy Corporation in April 2021. Established in 1988, its corporate headquarters are located in Van Nuys, California.
