Established in 1946 as Biotest Serum-Institut GmbH, the company adopted its current name, Biotest Aktiengesellschaft, in 1986. Headquartered in Dreieich, Germany, Biotest Aktiengesellschaft has been operating as a subsidiary of Grifols, S.A. since January 21, 2022.
