In its Specialty Ingredients division, Anthem Biosciences manufactures and supplies intricate, fermentation-derived active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), including serratiopeptidase protease and vitamin K2. The company's portfolio also encompasses microbial and mammalian biosimilars, a diverse range of probiotics (such as various species of bacillus, lactobacillus, bifidobacterium, streptococcus, and saccharomyces boulardii), and enzymes. Additionally, they produce key peptides like semaglutide, plecanatide, linaclotide, liraglutide, and cilengitide, alongside nutritional actives, vitamin analogues, and other APIs. The company was established in Bengaluru, India, in 2006.
