Other promising candidates in its portfolio include Lambda, which has completed Phase II clinical trials and is designed to target type III interferon receptors; Lonafarnib, also being evaluated for progeria and progeroid laminopathies; and Avexitide, an agent for congenital hyperinsulinism that has also successfully concluded Phase II studies for post-bariatric hypoglycemia. Established in 2008, Eiger BioPharmaceuticals, Inc. maintains its headquarters in Palo Alto, California.
