Beyond hardware, GE T&D India provides comprehensive services, including end-to-end turnkey solutions for substation engineering and construction, consulting, and electrical balance of plant for high voltage substations. They further extend their support through maintenance, asset management services, modern GE G3 green gas for grid solutions, and digital substations. The company is also a significant provider of digital software solutions, encompassing energy and market management, distribution and outage management, and virtual power plant-DERMS. Its extensive digital offerings include edge-to-cloud infrastructure, fleet-level analysis, optimization analytics, asset health and performance management (APM/ALM), protection and control systems, substation automation, communication technologies, remote monitoring and diagnostics, and geospatial and mobile applications. Additionally, it delivers specialized power electronics solutions and smart grid technologies, particularly for integrating renewable energies into transmission and distribution networks. Known as Alstom T&D India Limited until its name change to GE T&D India Limited in August 2016, the company operates as a subsidiary of Grid Equipments Private Limited.
