The company manages key power assets, such as a 315 MW combined cycle gas-fired power plant in Sengkang, Indonesia, and a 650 MW equivalent facility in the Philippines. Its portfolio also includes natural gas holdings within Indonesia's Sengkang contract area in South Sulawesi, as well as the Eromanga and Gilmore gas fields in Australia. Moreover, the firm is engaged in originating liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects and establishing and operating LNG Hub Terminals. Founded in 1985 and based in Seaforth, Australia, Energy World Corporation Ltd adopted its current name in 2001, having previously traded as Conversion Technology.
