Its Canadian cable operations are known as Cogeco Connexion in Québec and Ontario, and it operates in the United States under the Atlantic Broadband brand. Headquartered in Montreal, Canada, the company was established in 1972. The company, formerly known as Cogeco Cable Inc., adopted its current name, Cogeco Communications Inc., in January 2016. It operates as a subsidiary of Cogeco Inc.
