Its primary operations involve the transmission and distribution of electrical power across the country. The company's diverse service portfolio extends to connecting customers to its grid, rigorous testing of power equipment and safety systems, and the collection, transmission, and processing of vital technical data, including performance metrics and metering information. It also manages technical operations, implements energy efficiency and consumption strategies, and undertakes maintenance, diagnostic evaluations, and repairs for various components such as power lines, measurement devices, and critical relay and stability control schemes. Additionally, the company is proficient in engineering, constructing, renovating, upgrading, and installing new and existing network and grid infrastructure. Supporting these extensive operations is a vast network comprising 122,733 km of overhead lines (ranging from 0.4 to 220 kV) and 7,224 km of underground cable lines (0.4 to 110 kV). Its infrastructure further includes 1,049 high-voltage substations (35-220 kV) with a cumulative capacity of 21,863 MVA, alongside 31,864 lower-voltage substations (6-10(35)/0.4 kV) providing 9,228 MVA of capacity.
