Finally, the Engineering Materials segment produces high-performance plastics, glass fibers, fiber composites, and urethane-based elastomers, which find use in the automotive, electrical/electronics, construction, medical, and sports and leisure fields. Founded in 1863, LANXESS has its headquarters situated in Cologne, Germany.
