Celyad Oncology holds a licensing agreement with Novartis International AG, granting rights to U.S. patents concerning allogeneic CAR-T cells. Additionally, it has established research and development collaborations and licensing agreements with Horizon Discovery Group plc, leveraging their shRNA technology to create an alternative non-gene-edited allogeneic platform. Established in 2004, the company was initially known as Celyad SA before rebranding to Celyad Oncology SA in June 2020. Its headquarters are situated in Mont-Saint-Guibert, Belgium.
