Through its Silicates and Glass segment, Ciech manufactures glass and silicate products, alongside glass and plastic packaging. Additionally, the Transport segment provides rail logistics services, including leasing rail carriages, cargo transport, and maintaining rail sidings. Beyond manufacturing, Ciech distributes a wide range of chemicals such as soda ash, baking soda, vacuum salt, calcium chloride, and various solid and liquid organic and inorganic compounds, acids, bases, and solvents. The company also supplies essential raw materials to a multitude of industries, including household, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical product manufacturers; the milk and sugar sectors; the animal feed industry; and heavy industries like galvanizing plants, smelters, coke plants, and foundries. It further caters to water and sewage treatment plants, as well as producers of tires, paints, and varnishes. In addition to these activities, Ciech engages in research and development, real estate sales and management, and financing. Established in 1945 and based in Warsaw, Poland, Ciech S.A. is a subsidiary of KI Chemistry S. à r. l.
