The company's leading therapeutic candidate, vilobelimab, is an innovative, intravenously administered, first-in-class monoclonal antibody designed to target C5a. This compound has successfully completed Phase III clinical trials for treating hidradenitis suppurativa, a severe, chronic, and debilitating systemic inflammatory skin disease. Furthermore, vilobelimab is undergoing Phase II trials for anti-neutrophil cytoplasm antibody associated vasculitis, a rare and life-threatening autoimmune disorder. An exploratory Phase IIa study is also underway for pyoderma gangraenosum, a persistent inflammatory skin condition. Additionally, vilobelimab is in Phase II clinical development for locally advanced or metastatic cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma that is resistant or refractory to PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors. Beyond their lead candidate, InflaRx is developing INF904, an oral small molecule drug, intended for currently undisclosed chronic inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. Another pipeline asset, IFX002, is in preclinical stages, targeting chronic inflammation and autoimmune diseases. The company has established strategic alliances, including a co-development agreement with Beijing Defengrei Biotechnology Co. Ltd. and a clinical trial collaboration and supply agreement with Merck & Co. Inc. Established in 2007, the company was initially known as Fireman B.V. before adopting the name InflaRx N.V. in 2017. Its corporate headquarters are located in Jena, Germany.
