The company's developmental pipeline encompasses several experimental therapies. This includes CNCT19, an investigational autologous CD19 CAR-T therapy aimed at treating patients with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) and B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (B-NHL). BI-1206 is currently in Phase I/II trials, combined with the anti-PD1 therapy Keytruda, for solid tumors, and is also undergoing a Phase I/IIa study in conjunction with MabThera (rituximab) for individuals with relapsed/refractory NHL. CB-5339 is advancing through Phase I clinical trials for acute myeloid leukemia and myelodysplastic syndrome. Further additions to its pipeline are CID-103, targeting multiple myeloma patients, and Thiotepa, which possesses a broad range of indications, including its use as a conditioning therapy for various allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplants. Additionally, long-acting injectable formulations of Octreotide are being developed for managing acromegaly and alleviating symptoms associated with different neuroendocrine tumors. CASI maintains licensing agreements with Juventas Cell Therapy Ltd, BioInvent International AB, Black Belt Therapeutics Limited, and Cleave Therapeutics, Inc. It has also forged distribution partnerships with China Resources Pharmaceutical Commercial Group International Trading Co., Ltd, Pharmathen Global BV, and Riemser Pharma GmbH. Incorporated in 1991, this Rockville, Maryland-based company was formerly known as EntreMed, Inc. before adopting its current name, CASI Pharmaceuticals, Inc., in June 2014.
