Additionally, it possesses a 65% share in Block 56, an area of about 5,808 square kilometers located in the southeastern region of the Sultanate of Oman. Furthermore, Tethys Oil fully owns Block 58, spanning approximately 4,557 square kilometers within the Dhofar Governorate in southern Oman. Founded in 2001, Tethys Oil AB (publ) is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.
