In addition to its core manufacturing, the enterprise diversifies its operations by offering financial services and producing essential electrical components such as varnished wires and capacitors. Established in 1989, the company initially operated under the name Haili Air-conditioning Engineering Co., Ltd. of Zhuhai, before adopting its current corporate identity, Gree Electric Appliances, Inc. of Zhuhai, in 1994.
