Infinera Corporation is a global provider of optical transport networking solutions, offering a comprehensive suite of equipment, software, and associated services. Its diverse product portfolio includes various platforms designed for different network requirements: The Infinera Groove series provides modular and sled-based systems for a wide range of transport network applications. The Infinera 7300 series is an SDN-ready coherent optical transport system. The Infinera FlexILS is an open optical line system that facilitates connections between Infinera and third-party terminal equipment over long-distance fiber optic cables, supporting switching, multiplexing, amplification, and management functions. The Infinera 7090 and 7100 series are also available as core transport platforms. For metropolitan connectivity, the company offers the Infinera XTM series, a packet-optical transport platform. The Infinera XTC series provides multi-terabit packet optical transport by integrating digital Optical Transport Network (OTN) switching with optical Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) transmission. The Infinera mTera series serves as another robust network transport solution. The Infinera XT series is engineered to power cloud-scale network services across metro, data center interconnect (DCI), long-haul, and subsea networks. Additionally, Infinera provides the Cloud Xpress Family, specifically designed to address the demands of internet content providers (ICPs), communication service providers, internet exchange service providers, enterprises, and other large-scale data center operators. ICE-XR Coherent Pluggable Optics are also part of its offerings. Beyond hardware, Infinera supplies its Transcend software suite, alongside various system software and dedicated customer support services. The company caters to a broad customer base, including telecommunications service providers, ICPs, cable operators, wholesale carriers, research and education institutions, large enterprises, and government entities. Its products and related support services are primarily marketed and sold through a direct sales force. Originally incorporated in 2000 as Zepton Networks, Infinera Corporation is headquartered in San Jose, California.
