Founded in 1899, the company is headquartered in Lippstadt, Germany. The entity, previously known as HELLA KGaA Hueck & Co., adopted its present corporate identity, HELLA GmbH & Co. KGaA, in October 2017. Currently, HELLA GmbH & Co. KGaA operates as a subsidiary of Faurecia S.E.
