It also provides property all risk, fire and specified perils property damage, home, and loss of profit/business interruption insurance; engineering insurance products, such as erection and construction all-risk, contractor's plant and machinery/equipment insurance, machinery breakdown insurance (MBD), loss of profit following MBD, and deterioration of stock following MBD; marine insurance products, including marine cargo and hull insurance policies; medical insurance; and accident and liability insurance, as well as security and private protection, energy downstream, plastic card, fidelity guarantee, and trade credit insurance. The company was formerly known as Saudi United Cooperative Insurance Company and changed its name to Walaa Cooperative Insurance Company in May 2017. The company was incorporated in 2007 and is headquartered in Al Khobar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
