Clarent Corporation specialized in developing software-driven communication technologies that enabled service providers to transmit voice, fax, and data simultaneously across Internet Protocol (IP) networks. This reorganization strategy later converted to a Chapter 11 liquidation, which was formally approved on April 1, 2004. Clarent Corporation is currently undergoing liquidation.
