Furthermore, the company maintains a strategic alliance with Contemporary Amperex TechnologyCo., Limited, focusing on battery material innovations, specifically cathode active materials and battery recycling processes. Tracing its origins back to 1865, BASF SE maintains its principal headquarters in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany.
