In addition, it offers leasing services for space segments; uplink service, HUB hosting and operation, and other teleport services; information services, such as remote sensing images, and location and weather information; consultation, certification, training, advertising, and other related services; and integrated information services in land, sea, and air for sensing and transmission. Further, the company provides emergency communications; private network communication network; universal services based on satellite communication; E-education; telecommunication services; satellite-based IoT solutions; streaming media, audio and video transmission, and live broadcasting; smart monitoring and early warning services; and services for marine and airborne applications. The company was founded in 2001 and is based in Beijing, China. China Satellite Communications Co., Ltd. operates as a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.
