Its infrastructure included 2,105 square kilometers of transmission lines, covering 33 municipalities in the Santiago metropolitan area. Beyond its core electricity services, the company is also involved in the sale and transport of natural gas, along with providing construction, engineering, and consulting services. It caters to a wide array of clients, spanning residential, commercial, industrial, governmental, and other sectors. Established in 2016, the company was originally named Enersis Chile S.A. before adopting its current name, Enel Chile S.A., in October of the same year. Enel Chile S.A. is headquartered in Santiago, Chile, and operates as a subsidiary of Enel S.p.A.
