The company's lead drug candidate, prexigebersen, is presently in Phase II clinical trials for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myelodysplastic syndrome. Additionally, Bio-Path is advancing Liposomal Bcl-2 for refractory/relapsed lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Another promising asset, Liposomal STAT3, is in preclinical development, targeting pancreatic cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, and AML.
