Furthermore, Altair develops and markets solid-state lighting technology, specifically LED lamps designed to directly replace fluorescent tubes, utilizing its proprietary communication and control protocols. Its sophisticated, integrated software suite empowers users to optimize design performance across multiple engineering disciplines, including structural integrity, motion dynamics, fluid dynamics, thermal management, electromagnetics, system modeling, and embedded systems. Altair serves a broad and varied customer base, which includes academic institutions, governmental bodies, manufacturing enterprises, pharmaceutical companies, financial services firms (banking, finance, insurance), meteorological agencies, and electronics design companies.
